I know you are all busy, I really need to get this game fixed and patched. I do not know how Im going to do this, really I dont! some of you guys might think Im smart and do but I have no real idia how to do this. Im not going to add alot of time to this or screw my game or computer up so this is my last on my knees beg for help request.

Ok this is what I got and where Im at on this. I have download to a folder 4.08 and 9m patches and the I think the full ultra 2.0 mod but I dont trust that any of these are good. so I would still like to get good site to get all patches and the mod and Ill download to a new folder and at least compare file size but if you know that the site you got yours is good Ill at least feel better. next I need to know how to get the mod out of my game or if I sould just reinstall the game clean and patch up but I really need someone to point me in the right direction. I really need to get online!

I out on medical for 4 weeks and would like to do this soon and fly with you all so please guys someone find some time and give me a hand here Id really appreaciate. Thank Wolfe

I am no real expert but what I did was:
load 4.08 from CDROM
Patch to official 4.09M
Then I downloaded (I think)
Ultrapack 2.0 (and have another waiting update also)
I also downloaded HSFX seperately
I made 2x installs in seperate folders (just in case) then applied HSFX to 1 and ultrapack 2.o to the other
you get a version JSGME for each install and use this to switch between setups etc (has many mods, some useful and some not)
HSFX I got link from LW10 forums
Ultrapack from WSP forums with help from WSP sat
but this is only if memory serves!!
If you visit WSP forms and ask for TS2 IP or see it in home page then introduce yourself to Sat and I am sure he will give you the heads up - mention subg and LW10 cos he cannot visit these forums.
Usually he can sort fliers out on the tech side

Well I dont have the cdrom ver anymore only dvd game, not sure what ver that is from clean install. I tryed to find the UB soft site to get a patch to get good 408 and 409m but cant seem to find any. and the site on the site for the ultra and the HSFX I have not seen here. Ill look but a push in the right direction would be great.

Ok its sunday! Links? Im looking but im not sure where to find them if there on your forum. So, Id like to start from scratch and just download all patches and mod. Ill need first all current site that are good for the patches for getting my IL2 1946 DVD install clean install patched up to 4.09m, to included 4.08 and site for ultra 2.0 and if I need this other mod HSFX. I have heard of it but do not know of it so I guess Ill need to need so intel on it. I reall just needed to get patched and modded up tp Spits/109's, so guys Im here to get this working today and Ill try to get TS on this computer but if need be I can go to my gaming pit but I will need a JG 10 TS ip as I do not have one nor a pass word. may work better to get on ts and talk to someone and get this going after I get the files I need but Ill need to get them asap and the ultra is a big one so getting the site soon will be needed. please gents I trust you guys and Im not willing to go and bug strangers on some other forum to get this info, all I need is the sites and Ill get the files and Ill get back to you all for further instruction maybe on ts to get this installed. and if I do not need to do a clean install of my game please stop me as Im not sure of any other way of getting back online, it already been some 6 month now and Im really going a crazy .

Stele, Im not getting these links, they give me no downloads, its like I have to join some account for uploading files and this is not what I want to do. I need to get to a site that gets me a file to download. I have run into all of these site even on the HSFX file, this is going to be harder then I had thought. do I need to do something on these sites to get the files I need?

Make sure to have all needed:

first the game ideal the CD-Version 1946: ( 4.07m it is you see in game start at the left edge of the start screen.)

The original patches you find here:

You need the first ( 4.08m and the third, 4.09m. These patches bring up your game to the latest offical game version.

Now take the MODs: Take the Ultrapack, its the all in one version!

Take the 2.0 first from here:

The bugfix you find here:

With this you have all the stuff needed.

Install the gane 1946 at first. ( Start game and check version lower left edge its 4.07m. Exit game for the next )
Install in it main games folder the 4.08m patch. ( Start game and check version lower left edge its 4.08m. Exit game for the next )
Install the 4.09m patch in the main games folder. ( Start game and check version lower left edge its 4.09m. Exit game for the next )

Run UP2.0 insatllation, the big thing in main game folder, choose Client in first window.( Start game and check version lower left edge its 4.09m. You see a new picture and in the middle UP 2.0 on a chip .Exit game for the next )

Run installation of the Bugfix in the main game folder.( Start game and check version in the middle it´s now UltraPack 2.0m. Exit game for the next )

The UltraPack includes all games automaticly by start. For all other Mods there is a Modenabler integrated.

In the main folder of the game you find a yellow G symboled program. Start it.

in the window you can see now you find on the left side all the Mods the gane has. If you hold you mouse over a mod you´ll get a fast information about the MOD. Mark one, the Zuti MDS 1.12 for example and click in the middle of the window the > symble. The MDS is now in the right window and activated for your game!

More about this will be easyer on coms.

If you once want to fly on BoB1940 Server or online the BoB map and you get an 90% loading issue or trouble by spawn or so get out in Games main setup: The choose Graficscard "costom". Than activat the S3 TC grafics compression and the issue will be done!

Salute Frank,
My German not so good but this is a good start. I have some downloads but Im going to pick though this and get all the patches you need me to get. you say CD but I think you mean DVD ROM right? as the IL2 1946 game I have is on DVD format.
But just the same Il that that as DVD install 1946 install with patches and the up 2.0 with bug fix and hope for the best.
Im going to try to get Team Speak up on this box as Im doing all my downloading away from my pit to spare any problems.
Ill try to get on to chat with some of you guys soon if all goes well with the TS. I do have the IP on my pit and may try logging on but I will try to try to again to download new files for this install. I have allready done this three times over the past week and the files have been not very good. size viry and it take a long time to get them. Thanks

Ok heres where Im at, seems the up 2.0 site is a really pain to download from,well for me at least. I have try three
times and I mean all 7 parts three times and have not got full bits on all parts and have got crup files. this is going to take alot of time. I need a new site if there is one. I will try to download again and burn again to disc. with this big of a download Ill need to get more cd's. ........Salute Wolfe

The Torrent download will take a night in makes or two hours in best case. Remamber, we are talking about 3.3 GB download.

For short: The torrent program downloads files from all people ever have downloaded the files wth torrent so its most time mutch faster tha a single mirror where all the people thry to get the same.

Mabe it´s possible someone in US send you a DVD ( I learned ) with the UP2.0. Will be cheeper than out of the old world
